There is nothing wring with a baby who is fat. All of the people who meet an infant compliment their looks even if they are a little big. Once we grow up, it is no longer acceptable to be fat like it was when we were first born. No one passes us on the street and lets us know how cute we look when our gut is hanging over our waist. A person can decide to get rid of the extra weight for any number of different reasons. Our self image is important. We care how we appear to others and what they say about us. Being overweight is also dangerous to our health. Too much weight is a well known cause of serious health issues. If a person does get to a healthy weight they can lessen the severity of the health problems. People who are not overweight can enjoy more of life than those who are overweight. Being overweight can be the reason we are unable to accomplish many things. There is not one solution that fits all for the people who need to lose weight. The support of others can make the weight loss process a lot easier than doing it alone.
